How to Join

Nothing could be more straightforward than joining a growing number of individual parking professionals in the UK!

IPP membership is open to all individual parking professionals, practitioners, students and to those with an interest in related matters whose organisations are members of the BPA and meet the entry qualifications required by the Institute. The entry requirements relate specifically to skills, qualifications and competence.

There are four classes of membership:

• Fellow of the IPP - FIPP
• Member of the IPP- MIPP
• Associate Member of the IPP - AMIPP
• IPP Affiliate (no designation)

No person may be admitted as a Member or Associate Member if they are eligible for a higher membership grade. Member/Associate Members should transfer to a higher membership grade when they become eligible.

Membership Fees

Professional Code of Conduct

By becoming a member of IPP you are agreeing to adopt the Code of Conduct which governs your personal conduct as an individual member of IPP and not necessarily the nature of the business or authority for whom you work. It will, therefore, be a matter of a member exercising personal judgment in meeting the Code's requirements.

The Code of Conduct applies to all aspects of the performance of your work. The Institute’s Code establishes a code of ethical practice; contains guidance on a range of moral and ethical matters as they affect members and relates to professional conduct. The Code’s requirements and supporting guidance demonstrates the Institute’s commitment to upholding and enhancing the good standing of the profession.

How to apply for membership

It is easy to apply for your membership. Please use this checklist:

• Complete the application form
• Ensure it is supported and signed by proposer and seconder
• Read the Professional Code of Conduct and agree
• Complete the payment method form and enclose your payment
• Direct Debit Form

Once your application has been processed, you will receive your welcome pack and can start enjoying the benefits the IPP provides to parking professionals in the UK.
